How to understand the validity period of entry, the number of entries and the duration of stay of a visa? -- Visa and Entry

The validity period of a visa for entry refers to the time range within which the visa holder is valid for entry.

Unless otherwise specified by the issuing authority, the visa becomes effective from the date of issuance and expires at 24:00 Beijing time on the day of its expiration upon entry.

The number of entries on a visa refers to the number of times the visa holder can enter the country within the validity period of the visa.

The stay period of a visa refers to the time limit for which the visa holder is permitted to stay after each entry, calculated from the day following entry.

As long as there are still remaining entries, the visa holder can enter China with this visa at any time before the expiration of the entry validity period (before 24:00 Beijing time on the expiration date).

The period of stay of the certificate holder in China shall not exceed the stay period of the visa.
