Chongqing Qianhe Zhixuan High-altitude Hotel: The most cost-effective hotel in Chongqing

After arriving at Qianhe Zhi Xuan High-Altitude Hotel (Hongyadong Branch), I unexpectedly enjoyed a free room upgrade—like a rainbow in the mountain city’s mist, such a pleasant surprise (probably because it was a weekday and I got lucky).

🏠 The hotel’s location is perfect: Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and Chaotianmen are all within walking distance. I chose it for its convenience. The rooms feature a cave-style design with great charm; at night, the view from the window is stunning, while the bustling night market and hotpot downstairs exude lively local vibes.

The room comes with a projector that can mirror content via Wi-Fi, making it incredibly relaxing to watch shows while lying down. 🛁 After a long day of exploring, soaking in the bathtub is the best way to unwind. I rinsed the tub thoroughly, then scalded it with hot water again, added a disposable bath bag, and felt completely at ease. The bathroom has a clear dry-wet separation, which is a big plus.

Overall, the location, facilities, and attention to detail have all exceeded my expectations. Wishing everyone visiting Chongqing a fun and comfortable stay!
