Check in at Manfu Tower

strategy2025/10/28

Manfulou Shabu-shabu, a restaurant rarely recommended by many, is truly my favorite copper-pot shabu-shabu in Beijing. Personally, I think it tastes better than Nanmen and Jubaoyuan!

Founded in 1991, it retains the Qing Dynasty imperial tradition of one pot per person and features rare small purple-copper pots in Beijing.

1️⃣ Recommendation rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars!

2️⃣ Reasons for recommendation: The vegetables are fresh, the meat is freshly sliced, and most dishes can be ordered in half portions, which is very friendly for girls with smaller appetites.

3️⃣ Dish recommendations:

Meat dishes: Hand-sliced fresh lamb neck, hand-sliced shabu-shabu lamb, high-calcium lamb, fatty beef from the neck, charcoal-grilled lamb skewers

Vegetable dishes: Fresh black tripe, pickled cabbage, frozen tofu, cilantro, sugar garlic, sesame sauce pancakes

Also, their sesame sauce dip is very fragrant. Oh, and don’t forget to order the freshly fried chili oil—it’s a perfect match!

4️⃣ Soup base recommendation: I recommend the clear soup base, which lets you taste the natural flavor of the ingredients.

5️⃣ Regarding reservations: Private rooms usually come with a 10% service fee. Small tables are fine on regular days, but be sure to call ahead to book a spot during holidays.

6️⃣ Location: No. 8 Chaoyangmenwai Street, Landmark Building (6th floor)

7️⃣ Parking information: There is an outdoor parking lot in the mall at 12 RMB per hour.
